The Beeches bed and breakfast is situated right in the heart of the very gorgeous Northumbrian market town of Hexham. With fabulous locations all around, and plenty of outdoor activities to take part in, The Beeches is a great place to stay for a long weekend, or a holiday in the region.
Hexham has some of the most stunning countryside and places of interest to visit in the whole of the British Isles. From the ancient Roman ruins of Hadrian's Wall and the forts along it, to The Metro Centre, The Baltic and The Sage, there really is something for everyone to enjoy. Of course, if you enjoy the quieter side of life then there are lots of fabulous golf courses, and plenty of world-class fishing to tempt you.
The Beeches has a splendidly sunny outlook, and your hosts Susan and Peter Cresswell, are full of local information to help you during your stay. Choose from three delightful rooms, each with it's own style, but all well equipped and very comfortable. Each room has a colour TV, and a complimentary selection of hot beverages and biscuits to make you feel right at home.
Guests at The Beeches can also enjoy the spacious and bright living room, and the dining room, where breakfast is served. Naturally breakfast, the most important meal of the day, is included in your stay, and Peter your chef will rustle up an amazing full cooked Northumbrian breakfast, made with good local ingredients, in the twinkling of an eye.
The garden is perfect for a relaxing moment contemplating the day's adventures, or those yet to come. Bird and wildlife watching is a favourite pastime of many people in the local area, and you can take advantage of the World Heritage coastline in Northumberland to see seals and puffins on a boat trip to the Farne Islands.
