| Northumberland has a great wealth of natural and historic attractions. One of the most notable of these is Hadrian's Wall, built during Roman times.

Situated near Hexham and directly at the famous wall is Moss Kennels B&B and as well as offering easy access to the most important Roman sites is also well placed to enjoy the boundless outdoor activities and attractions of Northumberland from the castles and walking trails to the stunning aspects of the long coastline.

Accommodation is offered within two lovely double bedrooms, each with en suite facilities. Moss Kennels form part of a hill farm and the bedrooms offer beautiful views over the farm, gardens, and surrounding countryside.

Additional features common to both rooms include central heating and electric blankets, television and radio, shaver points, armchairs, choice of duvet or blankets, fridges with fresh milk and bottled water, and tea and coffee making facilities.

The price for accommodation is £32 per person per night and includes a hearty farmhouse breakfast which includes full cooked options plus cereals, fruit juice, toast, croissants, and tea and coffee.

There is a guest lounge in which guests can relax, read or watch satellite television or a DVD and the farmhouse can also offer free wireless internet connectivity for those with Wi-Fi enabled laptops.

There is free off-road parking too and guests are welcome to leave their car for the duration of their stay and make full use of the Hadrian's Wall Bus, which provides an award winning tour of the area.

The opportunities for outdoor activities are endless and in addition to walking and cycling, local activities available include fishing, golf, horse riding, mountain biking and swimming. Sightseeing offers obvious pleasures too and there are many charming market towns in the area to explore, including Hexham, Corbridge, Haltwhistle and Haydon Bridge.
