After spending many years travelling and being hostel guests, owners Julie and Mick are keen to be welcoming guest into their own home. Having stayed in a huge variety of accommodation they hope they have created the perfect balance for the price and a very comfortable homely rest. Walkers and cyclists themselves, they can advise and guide on numerous walks in the area a short car journey away or straight from the door. Mick is a competitive hill climbing cyclist who can offer advise on every hill and its gradient in the area. He can alternatively advise on how to avoid these hills if a more gentle ride is what is wanted! Julie is from a Hexham family who own a five generation family clock business in historic Hexham town centre market place.

£80 for Super king size /Twin ensuite, £55 for single occupancy or £60 for shared bathroom, £40 for single occupancy. Full English breakfast with produce from the butchers down the road who source their meat locally. Breakfast is served in a warm cosy dining room where the fire is nearly always burning.
The house is in an usually peaceful position for the town centre in Hexham. T There is always an array of home-made cakes on offer with tea to be served any time anywhere.

The rooms comprise of 3 Super king size/ twin ensuites with or without child bed, and 2 rooms that share a bathroom between them, ideal for families. The beds are all said to be very comfortable and cosy, snuggle into luxurious duck down duvets or if allergies do not permit, there are non-allergic duvets available. There are hospitality trays in the rooms and flat screen tv available, please request a TV when booking.
