Northumberland is an outdoor lover's paradise with endless options for spending some leisure time in the large rural expanses, punctuated by charming historic market towns. Traditional farmhouse accommodation within Flothers Farm is an excellent way to make the most of the beautiful Northumberland countryside and forms the ideal retreat for short breaks and family holidays. The farm has wonderful open views from every side and is close to Hadrian's Wall and the historic town of Hexham as well as all the outdoor activities associated with Northumberland National Park.
Self-contained accommodation is available for up to five persons within a twin room, and a family room with double and single bed. Both rooms have en suite facilities with shower and further benefit from colour television, central heating and tea and coffee making facilities.
Families and pets are welcome and there is a garden play area and ample off-road parking. Guests are welcome to relax and unwind in the sitting/dining room and to enjoy a full Northumbrian breakfast each morning before embarking on all their Northumberland activities.
Breakfast is included in the price which starts from £30 per night for single occupancy, £50 for a double room and £60 per night for the family room.
Half a mile away is the village of Slaley which has a village store and a pub in which to enjoy excellent bar food and evening meals. Other local attractions include the towns of Hexham and Corbridge and all the water sport activities associated with Derwent Reservoir. Slaley Hall Golf Course is also nearby.
Walkers and would-be explorers will certainly enjoy the close proximity to the National Park, the stunning Northumberland coast and the North Pennines while numerous castles and abbeys lie in wait for those who wish to experience some of the rich history of the area.
